In order to become a dentist, I acquired the following certificates:
- Undergraduate education, University of Minnesota, 1995-1998
- DDS, University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, 2002
- General Practice Residency, Hennepin County Medical Center 2003
My profession changes at a constant rate as new technologies evolve. I know it is essential that I take continuing education courses to stay current with the latest products and techniques. I use this new knowledge to help enhance the oral and overall health of our patients. It is exciting to see the advancements taking place in dentistry and how they can improve the services we provide every day!

FAMILY LIFE
I was born in Bismarck, ND, and have lived in Stillwater since 2005. My wife, Kari, and I have two beautiful daughters and we love visiting state parks and just being outside! I enjoy every minute of being with them. My hobbies include building model cars, playing basketball and fishing, though not all at the same time!

I enjoy all of the different aspects of dentistry. The unique part of the job is that every day is a little bit different. I might see a 2 year old at one appointment, and a 102 year old at the next appointment! I have always liked working with my hands and artistic technical details – that’s what makes doing crowns, fillings, and dentures so fun!

FAMILY LIFE
My family and I moved to Woodbury last November. I’m originally from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and my husband is from Newport, Minnesota. We were living in rural Minnesota for five years until we decided to move to the cities to be closer to family. We stay busy looking after our three small kids – a 3 year old, 2 year old, and baby born in January 2025!
